Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By creating an account or using KnowIt.guru ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. The Service

KnowIt.guru provides AI-generated tutoring, including spoken explanations, whiteboard drawings, and demonstrations. Lessons are generated by third-party AI models (Anthropic Claude, ElevenLabs voice). We do not guarantee accuracy and the Service is not a substitute for professional advice.

3. Account & Eligibility

You must be 13 years or older. You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for all activity under your account.

4. Credits, Plans & Payments

• Lessons consume credits. One-time packs and monthly subscriptions are sold via Stripe and Razorpay.
• Credits do not expire while your account is active. Subscription credits are granted at the start of each billing cycle.
• All prices are shown in INR and include applicable taxes where required by law.
• You authorize us to charge your payment method on each renewal until you cancel.

6. Acceptable Use

You may not:

• Use the Service to generate illegal, harmful, defamatory, or infringing content.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape at scale, or circumvent rate limits.
• Resell or redistribute generated lessons commercially without permission.

7. Intellectual Property

You retain rights to questions you submit. Generated lessons are licensed to you for personal, non-commercial use. The Service, branding, and underlying code remain our property.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time from your dashboard or by contacting support.

9. Disclaimer & Liability

The Service is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability is limited to the amount you paid in the prior twelve months.

10. Changes

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be notified by email or in-app notice at least 14 days before they take effect.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Pune, Maharashtra.
